Subject: Sometimes..................

Hi sis,

Healing more than often methinks does as you say come through surrender and yielding to Him no matter what...not in grim determination-no! But in the realization that He is doing a work in our lives. I know that you like me, as you look back will thank God for the 'pain' not because you enjoyed it (Oh NO!!) but because it was through it we learned more of Who He is while He transformed our lives. Do I make sense?!!

I think He also doesn't take it away fully to keep us humble and ever dependent on Him! It's not 'my' faith but surely His grace and abounding love!

Sorry for rambling! Hugs as you lie there and enjoy His presence.

love

Hi darling sis,
Totally agree with what you say. I have just been studying that true worship comes from holiness born of repentance and cleansing. And that holiness comes from total surrender. So glad God takes us through these valleys of pain and difficulty in order to shape us and make us more like Him.

And yes, praise God that our needs lead us to humility and dependence on Him.

Hugs in return and much love and thanks for writing Sal,

Subject: Fields of Grace

My awesome celebrity friend,

I take it that the pic of the fields are from SL and the squirrels on the tree are from mum's garden - what a beautiful heritage we have.

Dancing in fields of grace - that's a beautiful picture my sis. You should listen to the song Dancing Generation by Matt Redman - that's what we are because it comes from the overflow of a forgiven soul.

Looking forward to more that we are going to hear as you spend time in bed with our Heavenly Father.

A hug coming your way - Mich

PS. He sure carries us Sal

Hey my precious sis Mich,
Bless you for reading my blog and for responding. Yep! You got that right. The field was one I captured on the way to Kandy by train. And yes, the squirrels were on Mum's Mango tree. Loved watching them. Mama puts out fruit and bread for them and so they all come scampering there every morning - a specially refreshing sight.

I shall have a listen to 'Dancing generation' - sounds a great song of worship.

Thanks for that lovely hug. Sending one right back to you.
Loads of love,
Anu xo

Hi beloved sis,
love your title today! Glad I read it ...how much He assures us and yet sometimes I'm too hurried to 'notice' or to 'hear'....so bless you for this reminder and may we extend this grace to all we meet this week.

Where would I be if not for His grace!
Praying for you as your foot heals. Have wonderful times with Him.

love and a hug O!

Hi darling Sal,
Bless you for reading and for responding. Yes, some years ago, God showed me the magnitude of my sin and the magnitude of His grace and I was blown away. How blessed we are that His grace is freely available to us.

Thanks for the reminder that we too should likewise freely extend that same grace to others.

Thanks sis. Praying for you as you share His love with others on a daily basis. May His love and strength be yours in full measure.
Loads of love and a return hug just for YOU,
Anu xox

Subject: No Blog today

My celebrity friend,

Trust you to think of this creative title, I laughed to myself when I saw your second email coming in to tell us that there actually was a blog. O yeeeeeeeeeees, we may lack something in our life today but there are the 99 others to give thanks for. I loved the picture of your garden and was visualizing it as I know it to be. O and the picture with mum and sal and hubby I take it - just tugged at my heart strings. FAMILY - what would we do without them.

Thank you for keeping us alive with your writings. Bless you darling girl.

My Awesome sis and Friend,
I decided I'd better ensure folks would read my blog ... hence the 2nd email. Thanks heaps for taking the time to read it and thanks heaps for your as always encouraging words. That was my brother with Mum and Sal - we had the 3 smallies (as we used to be called) and their families this Christmas. My brother Ranil was my playmate all my growing up years since he's only 2 years older than I (and Sal is 3) - we had lots of fun together! :)

Bless you dearest sis for all your loving encouragement.
Hugs and much love,
Anu xox
