Great story of day to day life! There is so much going on as we take our daily ride, but cannot help noticing God’s helping hand. He is a gentle encourager and a rewarder. He said, do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will have it’s own share of worries, but today is His and He is Faithful in being there for us.
Enjoy your walks noticing His beautiful creations.

Hi sweet Chits,
I'm sorry I took awhile to respond to this lovely message. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and respond. Always good to hear from you. God is indeed a gentle Encourager and Helpful Friend isn't He?
Enjoy this new decade of life and may His blessings be showered on you and all your loved ones.
Subject: Listening Matter
Hi beloved sis,
Great blog...SO needed in our world today. I too love to listen (eve though it often hurts to hear someone's pain) but sometimes I know I have been too quick with my responses and feel a gentle 'rebuke' or nudge by God!
"Be Slow to speak and Quick to listen", we are told!
Thanks so much for this. I like these quotes:
"Listening is about being present, not just about being quiet" & "Most people do not listen with the intent to understand but with the intent to reply."
Youare so right sis folks need to eb validated int ehri feelings and to feel they are ';ehard' no matter waht. May we yurge each otehr to sdo so.
In fact we were putting together a leaflet for a seminar Dileeni is doing on Listening in counselling for curch lay people. A friend added to it "Discover the healing art of a listening heart!
Keep writing...we are 'listenning'!!

Hi Beloved Sis,
Thanks so much for taking the time to read and to respond. So glad you liked it. Loved the quotes you shared. And also what the friend had added to the leaflets on listening in counselling 'Discover the healing art of a listening heart'. I'd love to offer that to others.
Yes, let us encourage one another to listen well and to bless and heal by our loving listening.
Muchest love and thanks again,
Congratulations and best wishes for your book launch on Saturday.
I read your latest blog which you say is a repeat. I fully agree with you on modern technology and communications. In light of all that is trying to get hold of us, I have tried to make some adjustments to my time management. One of the things I did was to close my Facebook account! The ten questions you have written down is quite good to analyse ourselves. Hope all of us will be able to manage our time to spend more time with Jesus.

Hi dearest Chits. Lovely to hear from you. I'm glad you too are making adjustments with time management. I find I have to constantly be on guard and say 'No' to a lot of good things in order to keep the main thing as the main thing. And yes,. the main thing is of course our time with Jesus.
Thanks for your loving words.
May we continue to seek Him with all our hearts.

Thanks so much sweet sis. Thanks for your faithful prayers over this period which has blessed us so much. And yes, He cares more than we can ever imagine isn't it? Really looking forward to having you here with us sweet sis. That would be lovely.
Much love to you and yours.
Subject: A Glimpse into God's Heart
Oh darling sis,
I could sense your hurt, confusion and pain at what happened between Dina and you. Those moments and times are really really hard aren't they?
Yet I thank God for the way He led you to understand how He feels yes, when we are busy about many things (often the seemingly good things) that take us away form Him.
Thanks sis for this needed reminder. He loves me inspite of myself & does not treat me as my sins deserve!!
Wishing for you many days of sitting at His feet, basking in His love and hearing from Him.
Praying for Dina too that she will come to know the love of God that will set her free to give and receive love.

Hi Beloved Sis,
Thanks so much for taking the time to read and respond to my blog. Thanks too for understanding the confusion about what happened with my friend. It was really bewildering and a shock to my system, but I was glad I learnt through it and also got closer to God through it. Love the sound of your wishes - basking in His love and hearing from Him. My favourite thing to do. :) Thanks for praying for Dina - I too have been doing a lot of it and I look forward to the day she discovers the love of God for herself which will set her free.
