Subject: Re: No Blog today

My Awesome sis and Friend,
I decided I'd better ensure folks would read my blog ... hence the 2nd email. Thanks heaps for taking the time to read it and thanks heaps for your as always encouraging words. That was my brother with Mum and Sal - we had the 3 smallies (as we used to be called) and their families this Christmas. My brother Ranil was my playmate all my growing up years since he's only 2 years older than I (and Sal is 3) - we had lots of fun together! :)

Bless you dearest sis for all your loving encouragement.
Hugs and much love,
Anu xox

My precious celebrity friend
A sis as I read this one my heart reached out to yours as I shared and prayed for some of the 'Waiting' times. But what touched me most was being with family for Christmas after 17 years. When the word 'family' and 'mum' pops up the heartrate also goes up:). beautiful O so beautiful, I am rejoicing with you as the Lord permitted for all of this to come to pass even though the waiting has not been easy. Love - Mich

Hey my dearest sis Mich,
Lovely to connect with you before I leave SL. Often those waiting times make something even more precious doesn't it? This was one year when I needed Christmas in Sri Lanka and our gracious Father gave it to me. Isn't He an amazing God!
Lots of love and thanks so much for your lovely and loving words,
Anu xo

Darling Sal,
Thanks so much for not only reading but for also giving me feedback which always encourages me. Thank you for moving me to a front row seat many times in my life by your constant encouragement and prayers. I cherish it all.

And yes, let us spur one another to allow others who are often in the back to reach the front row!
Lovely being here sis.
Love you lots,
Anu xo

Oh Anu what joy reading your blog today the 31st of Dec 2013.
"Waiting on Him" is I believe SO essential especially in our day and age when everything is 'instant'! and yet sometimes for us His children it doesn't come easily does it?
YET, I am so grateful to God for what He taught me of Himself in the years of waiting and doing in me a work which otherwise would not have been done. David Roper a favourite author of mine says "What we wait for, is far less important than what God is doing while we wait."

Thank you sis...may we encourage and spur each other on as He enables us to rise with wings as eagles!!

have a wonderful 2014 carried by His love!
sal

Dearest Sal,
Thanks so much for your lovely encouraging words. I loved the words you quoted from David Roper too. God's ways are so different to ours and His thoughts so different to ours too. Isn't it great that He does give us these waiting periods which turn out for our own good? He is a gracious Father.

Thank you for your lovely wishes. Wishing you too a beautiful year filled with His grace and goodness.
Much love,
Anu xo
