Subject: Re: I saw you!

Dearest of Sals,
Thanks heaps for reading and for responding to my blog this week. Bless you sis. I've just been studying Psalm 139 this morning which carries the same thought in great detail - and reminding us that even before we were born He was there seeing our unformed substance and shaping us. How awesome is that!

I'm so glad you forwarded it to someone in pain. I pray it blesses them. I love what you shared - the phrase 'God remembered'. Several years ago, when I was studying Exodus and going through a very difficult time, I came across the same 'And God remembered the suffering of his people in Egypt'. It spoke deep into my heart - that God remembered me in my pain too. And that He would begin to work on my behalf. He indeed went on to do that sis. So He fulfilled that promise to me too.

Praising God for your servant heart and for the way you ensure other's know He sees them in their pain - being used of Him to do the same. Bless you sis as you minister to many in pain and undergoing difficult times. They would know He sees them because you do.
Love always,
Anu xo

Hi ! I know you will agree that although at times it's really tough yet the journey of 'pain' has humbled us and refined us in order to gain a better understanding of who HE really is & also reach out to others isn't it? I've experienced too the compassion of our Father and feel a depth of gratitude to Him.

Shared the link with a dear friend from church and she liked the idea of this prayer method as during the hols she struggles for time as her daughter is at home. So bless you.
Me gonna start it today too!

Thanks darling Sal for reading my blog and for your loving words. Yes, the Christian hope is something we can cling onto when loved ones die, isn't it? Thank God for Jesus and the cross and the hope it heralded into a dark world.

Thanks for grieving with me and for praying for her family. Yes, it will be so hard for them - but am so glad they have glorious memories of Julie.

Bless you sis.
Love always,

Subject: Your old blue jacket!

Hi sis! Wow...wonder what that jacket would say if it could talk...guess it feels blessed and loved!
As I read yours..i realised that I have stuff too which I still wear that is 'old' and yet as you say they tell a story. I kind of thought why not pull them out and recall and give thanks to God. InfactI think recalling 'lean' times is so good as we saw God provide 'daily bread' not extras which we didn't really need.
What you say about relationships is so true as well...Yes, mama if you are reading this you (and thatha) made our lives richer and for your grands too. Growing up with our grands too did affect our lives in a positive manner.
May we teach our kids too to value and treasure what's important and also be examples of being gracious as we grow older.

Thanks Anu- your blog today has kind of awakened a 'creative' spark in me!!
love you

Darling Sal,
Delighted to hear that this blog ignited a creative spark in you. That thrills me sis. I know how creative you are and I look forward to hearing more about it.

And yes, lean times and hard times force us to depend on Him don't they? And so I am deeply thankful for those times myself.

I liked what you said of teaching our kids what to value and treasure and also to be examples to them of being gracious and loving as we grow older. There's a challenge!

Love you too Sal.
And thanks for your lovely response,
Anu xo

Subject: His Smile

Thanks for that 'writing' Anu! How true what you've shared.. and what a needed reminder to us.
His very nature is to love and this morning reading Ps. 103 made me realise how much He forgives...how much He shows mercy...how much he extends grace upon grace!
And so, like you I've often felt I've not done enough..I've not said what I should or said what I shouldn't have and then got anxious. So thanks as I said, for this reminder....it puts things in perspective and reminds of Who God really is. May we 'smile' on others as He does and show more grace in all of our relationships.

bless you & keep blogging!

Thanks dearest sis for taking the time to read my blog amidst your busy life and also to give feedback and encourage me on. Bless you. I love Psalm 103 and verse 1 - 5 are my special verses for 2013. So I keep going back to them. The psalm does reiterate God's amazing undeserved love doesn't it?

Yes, I find my wisdom is lacking so often when I try to help others. Thank God - He is in control and can use our efforts big or small - even when we blunder or slip up. As you said - yes, may be smile at others and show grace in all our relationships. Thanks for that sis.
Love and thanks,
And yes, will certainly keep blogging,
Your sis,
Anu xo

Subject: Does it matter?

Dear Anu,
I was thinking about your this week's blog and what came to my mind was, in life's journey the many things we do intentionally or without thinking does have an effect on those around us, be it family or friends. We may never know. As a Christian writer, your intention is to touch people's heart with hope and encouragement, because you know your God to be Faithful Fortress & Rock.
So keep writing, it does matter. You have certainly touched me with your blog.
Love, Chits. xx

Dear Chits,
Thanks once again for taking the time to not just to read my blog but also to respond. I was happy to hear your thoughts on it. I do agree with you 100%. So much of what we do matters - especially what we do for God and for others. Sometimes they may be very small - but have eternal consequences don't they?

Thanks so much for the mandate to keep writing. I certainly will. God bless you Chits.
Love and prayers,
Anu xo
